Accounting system integration

Finvalda, JARS Apskaita and other accounting software

Sales and purchase invoices, cash receipts and payments from your online shop, CRM or till system reach your accounting software automatically – with no retyping and no duplicates.

When the books are kept by hand

  • Sales documents are retyped into the accounting software by hand.
  • Typos, missing or duplicate documents and wrong VAT codes only surface when the VAT return is being prepared.
  • Supplier PDF invoices sit in the inbox until someone enters them.
  • Nobody can see exactly who has paid and who still owes.

Step by step

  1. 1

We map documents and accounting records

We decide which documents go to accounting and how they match your customers, items, VAT codes and warehouses.

  2. 2

We connect to the accounting software

We connect through the software's API, and if it is installed on your own server, a small relay agent runs inside your network.

  3. 3

    Documents are transferred automatically

New documents are transferred at once or on a schedule.

  4. 4

    Each document goes through once

Duplicate protection makes sure a document reaches the books exactly once and never bounces back and forth between systems.

  5. 5

An error doesn't hold up the rest

A document that can't go through waits with the reason and is shown to a person, while the others keep flowing.

  6. 6

Payments flow back to the CRM

Where needed, payments and debts are passed from accounting back to the CRM system.

  7. 7

    A daily control report

Every day you see how many documents were transferred and which ones are waiting for a decision.

Example

Example: a simplified diagram.

How sales and purchases reach the books
  1. From the business system – one document each

      1. A sale with an invoice

      2. Sales invoice

      1. A sale without an invoice

      2. Cash receipt

      1. A completed goods receipt from a supplier

      2. Purchase invoice

        VAT by the supplier's country

  2. Finvalda, JARS Apskaita or another accounting program

Running it again creates no duplicates

  3. i.SAF and the VAT return

Reconciliation with the source

Every filed document is checked against its record in the business system

What we transfer to accounting

  • Sales documents

VAT invoices, credit notes, pro forma invoices and online shop orders.

  • Cash receipts and card payments

Sales from the till system together with the payment method.

  • Purchase invoices

VAT treatment chosen by the supplier's country.

  • Bank receipts

Incoming payments are matched to the invoices they pay.

  • Items and stock movements

The item list and warehouse operations.

  • Customers and suppliers

Matched by company code, so the same buyer never appears twice.

  • i.SAF and the VAT return

Data ready for i.SAF and the VAT return (FR0600).

  • Control and log

A control report, alerts and a log entry for every transfer.

Where AI helps

  • AI recognises supplier invoices from PDFs received by email, clear booking rules decide how they are recorded, and unclear cases go to a person (AI email analysis).
  • AI suggests which invoice an incoming bank payment should be matched to.
  • AI spots possible duplicates and unusual VAT codes.
  • You can ask an AI assistant about your accounting data in plain language (MCP servers for accounting).

Integrations

Accounting software

Using JARS Apskaita? We'll connect it to your online shop, CRM and till – sales, purchases and payments will appear in your books by themselves.

Our principles

  • First we agree the rules for how each document is booked.
  • We test the integration in a test company, then run it in parallel on real documents.
  • Every mapping is documented.
  • As few manual steps as possible are left, and exceptions are always visible.
  • We monitor the integration: failed transfers are retried, and any fault raises an alert at once.

Examples of our work

Business management system sync with Finvalda

2026Launching

Customers, sales, purchases, bank inflows and cash receipts go from the business management system to Finvalda automatically.

The client's network stays closed – nobody has to connect to it from outside.

Node.js / TypeScript, MongoDB change streams, Socket.IO, Finvalda API

Accounting automation: from sale to i.SAF

2026Launching

Sales, cash receipts and purchases go from the business management system to a cloud accounting platform automatically – once each, and ready for i.SAF and the VAT return.

The process was tested on a full month of real data.

TypeScript / Node.js, MongoDB, accounting platform REST SDK, Jest

Questions and answers

Will we have to change our accounting software?

No. We connect to the accounting software you already use through its API, a data import or, if there is no other way, by having the AI operate the program itself. You keep working in it as usual.

What happens if a document doesn't go through?

It isn't lost: it waits in a queue with the reason, and you are told about it. Once the cause is fixed, the document goes through once, with no duplicates.

Can the online shop, the CRM and the till all send data to the same accounting software?

Yes. All sources send their data through the same integration, which checks customers, items and VAT codes and guards against duplicates. The documents arrive in your books in the same tidy form, whichever system they came from.

Which accounting software do you use? It can be connected to your online shop, CRM and till
